Palletlings
Palletlings are quirky creatures with heads in basic shapes with rounded edges, such as circles, cubes, cones, triangles, rectangles, or cylinders. They come in three vibrant colours: pink, turquoise, and yellow. There are also species of Palletlings that resemble animals, plants, or objects and come in a wider range of colours. These Palletlings were once distant from their homeland but evolved to develop traits similar to the native creatures. They tend to be short in stature with rounded features, and their limbs can be either stubby or long and rubbery. Often, they have large, expressive eyes and typically wear at least one of the native colours in their appearance.

Sage
Sage is a vibrant young Palletling with a turquoise rectangular head and a lively personality. His distinctive look includes a tuft of yellow hair, large beady eyes, and a playful, cat-like mouth. Dressed in a yellow cape and pants, and sporting a pair of pink goggles, Sage is an aspiring artist with dreams of becoming a superhero like his dad. Despite his ambitions, he struggles with motivation in his peaceful village, where he lives with his Aunt Rosetta. By day, Sage attends school, and by night, he immerses himself in video games. He’s laid-back and easily bored, often focusing intently on one thing at a time. Though he can be a bit scatterbrained, Sage is always ready to lend a hand and help others in whatever way he can.

Kwaylo
Kwaylo is a pink, cube-headed androgynous Palletling with a constant edge of annoyance. They view most others as beneath them, tolerating the world only out of necessity. Their one true need is tea—without it, they quickly spiral into irritability and chaos. The anger and sass that follow are only calmed by the simple comfort of a hot cup. In a world that feels dull and frustrating, tea is the only thing that truly keeps Kwaylo together.

Delia
Delia is a yellow Palletling with a punk rock vibe, always rocking a pair of oversized pink headphones and jamming to her favorite tunes. She’s passionate about music—whether she’s strumming her guitar or gaming, she’s all about that laid-back, kick-butt attitude. Delia is resourceful in a pinch, and always knows how to have fun. With a team of calm, grass-elemental companions by her side, she’s ready to face any challenge with a smile and a killer soundtrack.

Cypher
Cypher was once the mighty king of the demon realm, known for his pink complexion, teal horns, and a flowing blue cape. His reign ended when a rival demon defeated him, accidentally shattering Cypher’s fangs—the source of his strength. In a desperate defense, his body transformed into a smaller, youthful version of himself, and a diamond prism transported him to the mortal world. Now, Cypher’s sole mission is to regrow his fangs, restore his full power, and reclaim his throne as the true king of the demon realm.
Octo Gang
The Octo Gang is a dynamic duo that brings both chaos and charm to the world of Pen and Tablet.
Chris is a unique character, embodying the intriguing fusion of half man and half octopus. With his vibrant orange skin and charming… tentacle moustache, he often thinks he’s the brains of the operation. However, his overconfidence can lead him into amusingly foolish decisions that leave his friends shaking their heads in disbelief. Cups, on the other hand, is an all-octopus marvel with purple tentacles adorned with bright white suction spheres. She possesses a clever mind but remains blissfully unaware of her surroundings—often lost in thought or daydreams. This naivety contrasts sharply with Chris’s misguided confidence, creating an endearing balance between them. Together, they navigate adventures filled with mishaps and misunderstandings but ultimately find harmony in their friendship. The Octo Gang reminds us that intelligence comes in many forms; sometimes it’s not about being book-smart but rather enjoying each moment—and occasionally laughing at your own mistakes!
Chris
